The Names & Titles of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (A.S.)
Fatima – One who separates or gets separated. There are 3 ahadith that mention why she was called Fatima : One who was separate from other women of her time due to her virtues, faith and lineage One who is separated from evil and bad things She and her shias have been separated from the fire of Hell siddiqah - The Honest, The Righteous, Upright Batool - Pure Virgin, Detached from the world and connected to Allah ; also the title of Hazrat Maryam Mubarakah - The Blessed One Tahirah - The Virtuous, The Pure from all evil Zakiyah - The Chaste, The Unblemished Ar Radhiatul Mardhiah - She who is gratified and who shall be satisfied Muhaddathah - A person other than a Prophet, that the angels speak too Zahra – light, purity, brightness Hora Insiya – Heavenly maiden in the form of a Human Hisan – chaste, pious Hurra – Free and noble woman Sayyida – Virtuous lady Azra –virgin Nuria – light Hania – Compassionate woman Siddiqa-e-Kubra Umm-e-Abeeha –She was the fruit of Prophet's (s.a.w.) efforts and the product of Nabuwwat top******************* Saying of Sayyida (s.a.)There are 12 valuable instructions to be observed while having a meal by all Muslims. Of these instructions, four are obligatory, four are recommended and four are the signs of politeness.
The obligatory ones are: 1. To be conscious of God's grace who has given us these blessings 2. To be content with His blessings 3. To say "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" before having food 4. To be thankful to God.
The four recommended ones are: 1. To make the ablution before having food 2. To lean on the left part of the body 3. To have food while sitting 4. To have food with three fingers

To chew the food well and make it quite mashed (Avalemol Ulum by Allama Bahrani, Vol.11, Page.629) top******************* Excerpt from the Sermon of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (s.a.)Allah made belief to be purification for you from polytheism, He made: Prayer - exaltation for you from conceit Alms - purification for the soul and a (cause of) growth in subsistence Fasting - An implantation of devotion Pilgrimage - A construction of religion Justice - A harmony of the hearts Obeying us (Ahlul-Bayt) - Management of the nation Our leadership (Ahlul-Bayt) - Safeguard from disunity Jihad (struggle) - A strengthening of Islam Patience - A helping course for deserving (divine) reward Ordering goodness (Amr Bil Maruf) - Public welfare Kindness to the parents - A safeguard from wrath Maintaining close relations with one's kin - A cause for a longer life and multiplying the number of descendants Retaliation (Qesas) - For sparing blood (souls) Fulfillment of vows - subjecting oneself to mercy Completion of weights and measures - A cause for preventing the neglect of others' rights Forbiddance of drinking wine - An exaltation from atrocity Avoiding slander - A veil from curse Abandoning theft - a reason for deserving chastity Allah has also prohibited polytheism so that one can devote himself to His Lordship. Therefore Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam; Obey Allah in that which He has commanded you to do and that which He has forbidden, for surely those truly fear among His servants, who have knowledge. top
